Holidays are about spending quality time with family and friends. Although we all get caught up in giving and receiving gifts. Our pets might not know that it’s a holiday, we know, and this is one of those cases where we spoil our pets. So, what are you planning to get your four-legged friend this […]
The holiday season is upon us and it is important to stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to decrease any stress that may come with the festivities. We also need to keep our pets away from unhealthy treats, toxic plants, and dangerous decorations. Here are just a few, but most important, […]
You can find all kinds of different collars and leashes to style your four-legged friends to their inner personalities. Although they are more important than just for fashion, they have an important role in their safety when out and about in your neighbourhood.
With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that effective May 4, 2020 the restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
We are allowing 1 client per pet into the hospital (up to a maximum of 3 clients in our hospital at one time). When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us so a staff member can meet you at the door and bring you and your pet into the hospital for an examination.
We ask that you wear a mask when in our building and encourage you to bring your own. While in the exam room please minimize contact and be mindful of physical distancing in the confined space.
You may choose to continue with the "closed-door" approach and we can obtain a history over the phone and then collect the pet at the door for the exam. The Veterinarian will then call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside and take care of any needed medications and payment.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
